HorseLuxe EN Realization
Modifying a riding surface using chopped geotextile is an efficient and technically simple process. By following the correct procedure, it is possible to achieve a high-quality, stable, and safe arena surface suitable for daily horse training.
In the first step, sand is brought onto the base and the arena surface is leveled into an even layer with a thickness of approximately 100 – 120 mm. Subsequently, the chopped geotextile material is divided into two parts. The first half is spread evenly over the entire area of the arena and worked into the sand, ideally using an agricultural rotary tiller. If necessary, the incorporation can also be done manually, for example, with a shovel.
The second half of the geotextile material is incorporated into the surface in the same way. After thorough mixing, the entire surface of the arena is sprayed evenly with water and then rolled.
A riding surface prepared in this way ensures optimal mixing of sand and geotextile, increases the stability of the base, and creates ideal and safe conditions for both the horse's movement and the rider's work.
